Today, the headquarters of Agroterra -Monsanto's representative in Uruguay- received an unexpected visit of a group of people that were protesting against the transgenic Corporations.
Van 3 tot 15 augustus voeren A SEED Europe en XminY Solidariteitsfonds campagne voor het promoten van gentechvrije zones in de Waddenregio. Het zeilschip de Papillon heeft in de afgelopen dagen al Den Helder en Texel aangedaan. Er zijn gesprekken gevoerd met de lokale politiek, en bij het schip en in het centrum van Den Helder en Den Burg de aandacht van het publiek getrokken met straattheater en sambamuziek. Er was een infostand en er worden folders uitgedeeld.
